CUSTOMER

Customer

Help security and compliance teams get lasting value from the work they do in Veleta.

Customer Success Manager

Help our customers get the most value from Veleta.

Read full role description

As a Customer Success Manager at Veleta, you’ll be one of the key people responsible for the relationship between our customers and the product.

You’ll work closely with customers from the moment they start using Veleta, helping them understand how the platform can support their security and compliance workflows, guiding them through adoption, and making sure they continue to see real value as their use of the product grows.

This is not a traditional support role. You won’t simply respond to incoming questions. You’ll actively work with customers, understand how their teams operate, identify where Veleta can remove manual work, and help them make better use of the platform.

Our customers work with security questionnaires, vendor assessments, compliance requirements, evidence collection and other workflows that are often time-consuming and highly manual. Your role will be to understand those challenges and help customers use Veleta in a way that makes their work faster, simpler and more structured.

You’ll also be an important connection between our customers and the people building Veleta.

Because we are still a growing company, customer feedback has a direct impact on the product. You’ll regularly speak with customers, identify recurring problems, collect ideas and requirements, and work closely with Product and Engineering to help us decide what we should improve or build next.

What you’ll do

You’ll manage relationships with a group of Veleta customers and become their main point of contact throughout their journey with us.

You’ll help customers understand the platform, introduce them to new functionality and encourage wider adoption across their teams.

You’ll regularly speak with customers to understand what works well, where they are struggling and where Veleta could provide more value.

You’ll help customers build effective workflows around security questionnaires, vendor reviews, compliance activities and other security-related processes supported by Veleta.

You’ll proactively identify customers who may need additional support and work with them before small problems become larger ones.

You’ll collect structured product feedback and communicate it clearly to our Product and Engineering teams.

You’ll help us create better onboarding materials, documentation, customer communication and best practices as we continue to grow.

You’ll also work closely with Sales, Support and Engineering to make sure customers have a consistent experience across every interaction with Veleta.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with customers and solving problems with them.

You should be comfortable speaking with both technical and non-technical people and be able to explain complex topics in a simple, practical way.

Experience with B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, compliance, GRC, vendor risk management or related areas would be a strong advantage, but we care just as much about your ability to learn quickly and understand customer problems.

You should be organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of customer relationships rather than waiting for someone to tell you what to do next.

Strong written and spoken English is important, as you’ll work directly with customers and teams across different countries.

We’re particularly interested in people who are curious about how customers actually work and who naturally ask questions such as: Why are they doing it this way? What is slowing them down? Could Veleta make this easier?

Why this role matters

Customer Success will play a major role in how Veleta grows.

Our product is being built for people working in security and compliance — teams that often deal with complex processes, large amounts of information and significant operational pressure.

Helping those teams successfully adopt Veleta is just as important as building the product itself.

In this role, you’ll have a direct influence on customer satisfaction, product development and the long-term direction of the company.

You won’t be several layers away from decisions. You’ll work closely with the people building Veleta and your conversations with customers will directly influence what we do next.

If you like working with customers, understanding complex problems and helping shape a growing product, we’d love to hear from you.

Technical Support Specialist

Be the person our customers can rely on when something doesn’t work the way it should.

Read full role description

We’re looking for a Technical Support Specialist who enjoys solving problems, digging into how software works and helping customers get unstuck quickly.

You’ll be one of the first people customers turn to when they have a technical question, need help with configuration or run into an issue with Veleta.

This is more than just answering tickets. You’ll investigate what’s actually happening, reproduce problems, troubleshoot integrations and work directly with our Engineering team when something needs a deeper technical look.

What you’ll do

You’ll help customers with product configuration, technical questions and day-to-day issues.

You’ll investigate bugs, gather the right technical context and make sure problems are clearly understood before they reach Engineering.

You’ll troubleshoot integrations, APIs and other technical workflows around the platform.

You’ll also help us improve documentation, support processes and the overall customer experience as Veleta grows.

Because we’re still a relatively small team, you’ll have direct access to the people building the product and your feedback will often lead to real improvements.

What we’re looking for

You’re naturally curious and like understanding why something works — or why it doesn’t.

You’re comfortable with technical products, APIs, integrations and debugging, even if you’re not a software engineer.

You communicate clearly, stay calm when something breaks and can explain technical issues in a way that makes sense to different types of users.

Experience with B2B SaaS, cybersecurity or technical support is a plus, but what matters most is your ability to investigate problems, learn quickly and take ownership.

Why Veleta

You won’t be working from a rigid script or passing every difficult question to someone else.

You’ll work closely with customers and engineers, see the impact of your work immediately and help shape how technical support should work as the company scales.

If you like solving real problems, learning how systems behave behind the scenes and making technical products easier for people to use, you’ll fit in well here.

Customer Onboarding Specialist

Turn a first login into a great first experience.

Read full role description

We’re looking for a Customer Onboarding Specialist who can make complex things feel simple.

You’ll be one of the first people new customers work with after choosing Veleta, which means you’ll have a big influence on how they experience the product from day one.

Your job is to help them get set up, understand how Veleta fits into their workflows and reach the point where they can confidently use the platform on their own.

What you’ll do

You’ll guide customers through their first weeks with Veleta — from workspace setup and configuration to their first real workflows inside the platform.

You’ll help them understand what to configure, what to prioritise and how to get value quickly without overwhelming them with unnecessary detail.

You’ll run onboarding sessions, answer questions, coordinate with Technical Support or Engineering when needed and make sure nothing important gets lost between signing the contract and actually using the product.

You’ll also help us improve the onboarding experience itself.

As Veleta grows, you’ll help create better materials, clearer processes and smarter ways to make onboarding faster and easier for every new customer.

What we’re looking for

You’re organised, patient and genuinely good at explaining things.

You’re comfortable talking to different kinds of customers — from people who want every technical detail to those who simply want to know what they need to do next.

You like taking ownership and making sure things actually get finished.

Experience with B2B SaaS, customer onboarding, implementation or technical products is useful, but we care just as much about your attitude and ability to learn quickly.

Why Veleta

This isn’t a role where you’ll just follow a fixed onboarding script.

You’ll help define what great onboarding at Veleta should look like.

You’ll work directly with customers, Product, Support and Engineering, and your feedback will have a real impact on how we build both the product and the customer experience.

If you like helping people feel confident with new technology and enjoy turning a potentially complicated process into something smooth and easy, you’ll probably feel at home here.

SALES

Sales

Help the right organisations understand how Veleta can make their work easier.

Head of Sales

Build the commercial engine of Veleta.

Read full role description

We’re looking for a Head of Sales who wants to do more than inherit an existing process.

At Veleta, you’ll have the opportunity to help build the commercial side of the company almost from the ground up — shaping how we sell, who we sell to, how we position the product and how we scale from early traction into a repeatable sales organisation.

You’ll work directly with the founders and closely with Product, Customer Success and Engineering. There are no long chains of approval and no layers between you and the people making decisions. If you see a better way to approach a market, structure a pipeline, improve messaging or change how we run demos, you’ll be able to influence it directly.

Veleta is building software for security and compliance teams — people who spend too much time answering questionnaires, gathering evidence, managing vendor reviews and repeating manual work that should be automated.

Our job is to make that work dramatically easier.

Your job will be to help the right companies understand why Veleta matters.

What you’ll do

You’ll own our sales strategy and help define how Veleta grows commercially.

That means building and managing the pipeline, developing a repeatable sales process and helping us identify the customer segments where Veleta can create the most value.

You’ll lead conversations with prospects, run product demos, understand customer pain points and help translate those needs into a compelling commercial story.

You’ll work with the founders on pricing, packaging, positioning and go-to-market strategy.

You’ll help us improve how we qualify opportunities, manage the funnel and forecast revenue.

As the company grows, you’ll also help build the sales team around you — defining roles, hiring the right people and creating the structure needed to scale.

You’ll work closely with Customer Success to understand what makes customers successful after the deal is signed, and with Product and Engineering to make sure customer feedback reaches the people building Veleta.

This is a hands-on role. We’re not looking for someone who only wants to manage a team or review dashboards. Especially at the beginning, you’ll be close to customers, involved in deals and actively shaping the process yourself.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with strong experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in cybersecurity, compliance, GRC or enterprise technology.

You should be comfortable selling to security leaders, compliance teams, technical decision-makers and business stakeholders.

You should understand how complex B2B sales cycles work and know how to move opportunities forward without turning the process into unnecessary bureaucracy.

We value people who are commercially ambitious but also curious about the product and the customer problem.

You don’t need to know every detail of security or compliance on day one, but you should want to understand the space deeply enough to have credible conversations with customers.

We’re also looking for someone who enjoys building.

Someone who sees an incomplete process and thinks, “I can make this better,” rather than “Where is the playbook?”

What it’s like to work at Veleta

We started Veleta as a small team of people with years of experience in security and compliance, building the kind of product we wished we had when we were doing this work ourselves.

We’re still small enough that your work will have a visible impact on the company.

You’ll know what we’re building, why we’re building it and what customers are telling us. You’ll work directly with the people making product and company decisions, rather than being several layers away from them.

Interested? Send your CV to careers@veleta.pro.

Business Development Manager

Help Veleta grow into new companies, markets and partnerships.

Read full role description

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who wants to play a meaningful role in how Veleta grows.

This isn’t a position where you’ll simply receive a list of accounts and follow a rigid sales playbook.

You’ll help us identify where the biggest opportunities are, decide how we should approach them and build relationships with the companies, partners and people who can help Veleta grow.

You’ll work directly with the founders and closely with our Sales, Product and Customer teams. Because we’re still building the commercial organisation, you’ll have plenty of room to experiment with markets, messaging, partnerships and different ways of reaching customers.

If you find an opportunity that makes sense, we want you to pursue it.

What you’ll do

You’ll identify companies and organisations where Veleta can solve real security and compliance problems.

You’ll research potential customers, understand their business and security environment and find the right people to start conversations with.

You’ll create and develop relationships with security leaders, compliance teams, technology organisations and other decision-makers who could benefit from Veleta.

A significant part of the role will involve outbound business development — but we’re not interested in sending thousands of generic messages.

We’d rather understand a company, identify a genuine reason to talk and start a conversation that is relevant to the person receiving it.

You’ll also explore partnership opportunities.

That could include security consultancies, compliance specialists, technology providers, managed service providers and other organisations whose customers or services naturally fit with what Veleta is building.

You’ll help us enter new markets, test different customer segments and understand where Veleta has the strongest commercial potential.

As opportunities develop, you’ll work closely with the rest of the sales team to move them forward and turn promising conversations into real business.

More than lead generation

We see Business Development as much more than booking meetings.

You’ll help us understand the market.

You’ll talk to companies about how they currently manage security questionnaires, vendor assessments, compliance evidence and other workflows.

Those conversations will help us learn where the biggest problems are, how different organisations approach them and where Veleta can provide the most value.

That means your work will also influence our product, positioning and go-to-market strategy.

If you repeatedly hear the same problem from potential customers, we want that information to reach Product and Engineering.

If you discover a market segment where Veleta fits particularly well, we want to explore it.

If you think our messaging isn’t working, we want you to help change it.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is curious, proactive and comfortable starting conversations.

You should enjoy meeting new people, understanding businesses and finding opportunities that aren’t always obvious at first.

Experience in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, compliance, enterprise software or technology sales is highly valuable.

You should be comfortable talking to senior stakeholders and able to communicate clearly with both business and technical audiences.

You don’t need to be a security expert when you join us, but you should be interested in understanding the problems our customers deal with.

We’d rather have someone who asks good questions and learns quickly than someone who has memorised a perfect sales script.

You should also be comfortable with ownership.

At Veleta, you won’t always receive detailed instructions about exactly what to do next.

Sometimes the question will simply be:

There’s an opportunity here. How should we approach it?

We want someone who enjoys answering that question.

How we work

Veleta started as a small team of people with hands-on experience in security and compliance.

We’re building the product we wished we had when we were doing this work ourselves.

As we grow, we want to keep the way we work simple.

You’ll have direct access to the founders, product team and engineers.

If a potential customer asks a difficult technical question, you’ll be able to speak directly with the people building the product.

If you have feedback from the market, you won’t need to send it through five layers of management before anyone hears it.

We value people who take ownership, communicate openly and are willing to challenge assumptions.

We don’t expect every idea to work.

We do expect people to try things, learn quickly and improve.

There’s plenty of space here to build something, rather than simply operate a process someone else designed years ago.

A role that can grow with you

This role has significant room to evolve as Veleta grows.

You might develop a particular market, build a partnership channel, take ownership of a region or help us create an entirely new route to market.

We don’t want to define every part of the job before you arrive.

The right person will help shape it.

As the commercial team expands, there will also be opportunities to take on broader responsibility and help build the business development function around you.

Why this role matters

We believe Veleta solves a real problem.

Security and compliance teams still spend an enormous amount of time answering repetitive questions, searching for information and managing processes that should be much more automated.

But building a good product isn’t enough.

We need to find the organisations that have these problems, understand their needs and show them a better way of working.

That’s where you come in.

Your conversations can open new markets, create partnerships, influence our product and bring Veleta to companies that genuinely need what we’re building.

If you enjoy creating opportunities, building relationships and helping grow a company while it’s still at a stage where your decisions genuinely matter, we’d love to hear from you.

Interested? Send your CV to careers@veleta.pro.

Account Executive

Turn great conversations into long-term Veleta customers.

Read full role description

We’re looking for an Account Executive who knows how to sell a technical product without making the process feel complicated.

You’ll take qualified opportunities, understand what the customer is actually trying to solve, run product conversations, coordinate demos and guide the deal from serious interest to a signed agreement.

You’ll work with security, compliance and technology teams, so curiosity matters. You don’t need to know every detail on day one, but you should be comfortable asking good questions, understanding complex problems and turning them into a clear business case.

What you’ll do

You’ll own opportunities through the sales cycle — from discovery and demos to commercial discussions and closing.

You’ll work closely with our technical and product teams whenever a conversation needs deeper expertise, and with Customer Success to make sure the handover after the deal is smooth.

You’ll also help us improve how we sell Veleta: what resonates, what creates friction and what customers actually care about.

What we’re looking for

You’re comfortable selling B2B SaaS or another technical product.

You know how to manage a deal without overcomplicating it.

You can speak confidently with both business and technical stakeholders.

And most importantly, you care about solving the customer’s problem, not just moving the opportunity to the next stage in a CRM.

Why Veleta

We’re still at a stage where your feedback can directly influence the product, positioning and sales process.

You’ll work closely with the founders, have real ownership and won’t be buried under unnecessary process.

If you like smart products, direct communication and closing deals that actually make sense for the customer, you’ll probably enjoy working with us.

Interested? Send your CV to careers@veleta.pro.

Sales Development Representative

Start the conversations that help Veleta grow.

Read full role description

We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative who is curious, proactive and comfortable opening doors.

You’ll research companies that could benefit from Veleta, identify the right people to speak with and start relevant conversations with security, compliance and technology teams.

This isn’t about sending hundreds of generic messages every day. We want thoughtful outreach, good research and communication that gives people a real reason to respond.

What you’ll do

You’ll build target account lists, reach out to potential customers and qualify new opportunities for our sales team.

You’ll test different messages, channels and approaches to understand what works best.

You’ll work closely with our Account Executive and Head of Sales, but you’ll also have plenty of room to experiment and improve the way we do outbound.

You’ll learn the product, understand the problems our customers face and use that knowledge to make your outreach more relevant and effective.

What we’re looking for

You’re confident communicating with new people, you learn quickly and you’re comfortable taking initiative.

Previous experience in B2B sales, SaaS, cybersecurity or technology is useful, but not essential.

What matters most is that you’re ambitious, thoughtful and want to develop quickly in a commercial role.

Why Veleta

You’ll join while our sales organisation is still being built, which means you won’t just follow a process — you’ll help shape it.

You’ll work directly with experienced people, learn fast and have a clear path to grow into roles like Account Executive, Business Development Manager or another commercial position as the company scales.

Interested? Send your CV to careers@veleta.pro.

ENGINEERING

Engineering

Build practical automation that makes a meaningful difference to the product.

AI & Automation Engineer

Fully remote

Build the automation behind Veleta.

Read full role description

We’re looking for an AI & Automation Engineer who wants to build practical AI-powered features that solve real problems for security and compliance teams.

This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, automation and applied AI.

You’ll work on the systems that help Veleta understand information, process documents, generate useful outputs, connect data from different sources and automate work that would otherwise take security and compliance teams hours or even days.

We’re not interested in adding AI features just because they sound impressive.

We want to use AI where it genuinely makes the product faster, smarter and more useful.

That means turning LLMs, automation workflows and intelligent data processing into reliable product features that customers can trust and use every day.

What you’ll do

You’ll design and build AI-assisted workflows across the Veleta platform.

This may include helping the system understand security questionnaires, analyse documents, structure unstructured information, suggest responses, identify relevant evidence, classify data or automate repetitive compliance tasks.

You’ll work with LLMs and other AI models, but the role goes well beyond prompt engineering.

You’ll be responsible for thinking about the entire workflow — how data enters the system, how it is processed, how models are used, how outputs are validated and how the result becomes a reliable feature inside the product.

You’ll build integrations and automation between Veleta and external systems.

You’ll work on data pipelines, background processing, APIs and services that connect different parts of the platform.

You’ll experiment with new models, techniques and tools, but you’ll also know when a simple deterministic solution is better than adding another AI layer.

You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering to prototype new ideas quickly and then turn the best ones into stable production features.

You’ll also help us improve the reliability, speed and cost of our AI-powered workflows as usage grows.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a strong software engineer who is genuinely interested in applied AI.

You should be comfortable building production software, working with APIs and designing systems that process and move data reliably.

Experience with LLMs, AI APIs, retrieval systems, embeddings, structured generation, agentic workflows or similar technologies is highly valuable.

But we care more about how you think than whether you have used a specific framework.

The AI ecosystem changes quickly. We expect the tools we use today to evolve, and we want someone who is comfortable learning, testing and adapting.

You should enjoy experimenting, but you should also understand that production systems need predictability, observability and sensible failure modes.

A prototype that works eight times out of ten is interesting.

A production feature that customers depend on needs to work differently.

You should be comfortable asking questions like:

Is AI actually the right solution here?

How do we verify the output?

What happens when the model is wrong?

Can we make this faster or cheaper?

Can we automate 80% of this safely instead of pretending we can automate 100%?

That kind of thinking matters a lot to us.

Technologies and experience

You don’t need to match a perfect checklist, but experience in some of the following areas would be useful:

  • backend software development
  • APIs and system integrations
  • LLM APIs and applied generative AI
  • prompt and context design
  • retrieval and knowledge systems
  • structured data extraction
  • document processing
  • automation pipelines
  • databases and data modelling
  • asynchronous and background processing
  • cloud environments
  • monitoring and debugging production systems

Experience in cybersecurity, compliance, GRC or security tooling is useful, but not required.

We can teach you the domain.

What matters more is that you want to understand the problems deeply enough to build good solutions for them.

How we work

Veleta is a small and growing company, which means you won’t be handed a tiny isolated part of a huge system.

You’ll see the full product.

You’ll understand the customer problem behind the feature you’re building.

And you’ll be able to influence how the solution should work.

You’ll work directly with the founders and the rest of the engineering team.

We like short feedback loops, practical decisions and people who are comfortable taking ownership.

If you have an idea, you’ll be able to prototype it.

If you think an existing approach is wrong, we expect you to say so.

If you find a better way to solve a problem, there is no committee you need to convince before anyone listens.

We want to build quickly, but we don’t want to build carelessly.

The goal is to move fast while still creating a product our customers can trust.

Remote by default

This is a fully remote role.

We care about the quality of your work, how you communicate and the impact you have — not about where your desk is.

You’ll work closely with a distributed team and collaborate online on a daily basis.

That means clear communication and the ability to work independently are important.

We want people to have freedom in how they organise their work, while still being available for the conversations and collaboration that help the team move forward.

Why this role matters

AI and automation are central to what Veleta is building.

Security and compliance teams still spend enormous amounts of time searching for information, answering repetitive questions, reviewing documents and manually moving data between systems.

A large part of that work can be improved dramatically.

Your job will be to help us figure out where automation creates real value and then build the technology that makes it happen.

You won’t be working on experimental AI features that sit on the side of the product.

You’ll be building capabilities that can become a core part of how Veleta works.

And because we’re still growing, the technical decisions you make today can influence the architecture, product and engineering culture for years to come.

If you enjoy building software, experimenting with AI and turning new technology into useful, reliable products, we’d love to hear from you.
